Alison Posinski was awarded the Richard F. Melick Award for
distinguishing herself by giving unselfishly to water profession
training and technical education through AWWA and the Operator Training
Committee of Ohio.
Alison Posinski, Assistant Superintendent for the Commercial Services Division of the Cincinnati Water Works, has 27 + years experience in the water industry and customer service. She is a past committee member and secretary of the National AWWA Customer Service Activities Committee where she developed and taught a one-day workshop entitled "Exceptional Customer Service for Utilities" for AWWA nationally. She has been a member of the Ohio Section's Diversity Committee and has served as committee member and past chair of the Ohio Section's Customer Service Activities Committee for the last 11 years. As a direct result of her involvement, the Ohio Section received the AWWA National Education award in 1993. She is a six-time winner of the Ohio Section Education Award for developing, implementing, and instructing numerous Customer Service Workshops within the State. Alison is a nationally recognized facilitator, speaker and trainer and is a trained AWWA QualServ peer reviewer. She is a member of AWWA's Management Division and represents the division on the Standards Council and is the division liaison to the National AWWA Customer Service Committee. She is also a member of the International Customer Service Association. |
